SWEA London Scholarship
SWEA, Swedish Women’s Educational Association International, is a global non-profit organisation for Swedish or Swedish-speaking women, who currently are or have been living abroad for a least one year. SWEA London Chapter is a charitable organisation with 110 members. SWEA London aims to promote and maintain the Swedish language, culture and traditions. As part of this work, SWEA London announces – not annually but recurrently – one or more scholarships. The amount varies depending on the nature and quality of the scholarship applications and SWEA London’s finances.

No scholarship will be announced in 2019. The next application year will be announced here on the SWEA London website and on social media.
Criteria for SWEA London Scholarship
Applicants must live, study or work in the UK. The Scholarship is open to applicants regardless of ethnic background, sex, religion or nationality. Knowledge of the Swedish language is an advantage, but not a requirement. The purpose of the scholarship is to support studies or projects that promote and disseminate knowledge of Swedish culture in the UK. Applicants need not be Swedish, but must be resident, studying, or working in the UK. Applicants for the SWEA London scholarship cannot have been a member of SWEA for the past two years before the year to which the application refers.
The Scholarship holder is themselves responsible for any travel insurance or other things for which the money is to be used. SWEA London is solely responsible for distributing money that will go to the approved purpose.
Applicants should use the Scholarship for a project or studies in a Swedish related subject of their own choice. List of former fellows here:

2) curriculum vitae
3) two references
Applicants must submit:
1) application form
2) presentation of her/himself, with background and interests
3) detailed description of proposed project
4) statement explaining how the scholarship money would be used
5) name and address of two referees

A) be informed about SWEA and the Criteria for the Scholarship
B) refer to one or several points of your application and be as specific and concise as possible
