Don’t miss the opportunity to join a Swedish crayfish party with, obviously, crayfish, traditional accompaniments such as Swedish cheese quiche, bread, beer and snaps, paper hats and lanterns. And above all, the traditional Swedish snaps songs and the cosy party atmosphere. This is an open event. Everyone is welcome. You do not have to be a member of SWEA, speak Swedish or even know what a crayfish party means (all the more interesting). Please spread the invitation to your friends or whoever you might think would be interested.

WHEN: Friday 28 September 2018
PRICE: £38 you will get half a kilo of crayfish, half a bottle of white wine or two beers, coffee or tea with an accompanying cookie or cake. If you want a snaps (“nubbe”) you can pay £4 extra and you will get your own little bottle of 5 cl Swedish snaps. There will also be a possibility to buy more wine, beer and snaps at the event should you wish.

Let us know if you prefer wine or beer and if you would like to add snaps. You will then get a reference code and instructions on how to pay. Payment is required to secure a place. We need to receive your payment at the latest on 5 September 2018.

SWEA is here to spread Swedish culture and traditions and this is a great opportunity for non-Swedes to join a very Swedish tradition that has been going on for hundreds of years in Sweden and for us Swedes to feel a bit at home. Places are limited. First come first to have a good time and experience a Swedish traditions. Should there not be sufficient people signing up SWEA London reserves the right to cancel the event. Any money paid will be refunded should this happen.
